about
Born and raised in Atlanta, I graduated with a degree in art and education from Presbyterian College. After teaching art in Gwinnett county for 10 years I retired from the classroom to focus on raising my three children. Now with an empty nest I have traded in my carpool numbers and play-dates for canvases and paintbrushes.

I work primarily in acrylics with bright, varied color palettes on canvas or wood panels. I paint outside when I can or in my studio out of my home. My subject matter is often inspired by nature or my favorite place at the beach.

I am influenced and inspired by my faith, my family, and my Southern surroundings and hope my art might brighten a room, evoke a sweet memory, and spread a little joy.

I take limited commissions in between my studio painting. Contact me for more information.
